For Carl Sagan (forty-something astronomer extraordinaire and prominent skeptic), when it comes to teaching his son, Nick (inquisitive, imaginative, eleven), about the scientific wonders and marvels that make up the known universe, he does not fool around. Setting sail for the stars on Sofi, a curious and peculiar spaceship powered by imagination (and which happens to be shaped like a dandelion seed), Carl and Nick embark on a voyage that takes them across time and space, where they bear witness to the myriad of infinite, impossible, improbable ways in which the cosmos works, and, along the way, gain some insight into what it means to be human and alive in such a strange and awesome place.
So yesterday I posted this picture of Carl Sagan and his son and made a jokey tag about the possibility of a sitcom named Sagan & Son, because I would so totally watch that. Then my brain, being my brain, proceeded to spend the rest of the day entertaining itself by imagining what a show like that would be like, so I just decided to make a Thing in order to properly find out.
I imagine the show would be like a mad mixture of Cosmos, Doctor Who, and The Magic School Bus. I also like to imagine that it would be totally awesome so you guys how do I go about making this happen
